Acrylic Resurfacer

Kenncoat Resurfacer is a water-based and acrylic binder material and is also known as a floor conditioner. It is mixed with silica sand during application. It is used on concrete or asphalt floors to increase the adherence of the upper layers, close the pores and obtain a smooth floor surface.

Theoretical Consumption Amount

When Kenncoat Resurfacer is applied by mixing 30%-60% sand and 20%-40% water, the theoretical coverage area is 400-750 gr/m2.
These rates vary depending on the surface of the asphalt and application temperature.

Surface Preparation

The surface on which Kenncoat Resurfacer will be applied must be free of dust, dirt and oil.
There should be no water on the surface.
The minimum temperature on the ground where Kenncoat Resurfacer will be applied should be 10°C and the maximum temperature should be 35°C.
For application, a minimum of 14 days must be waited for new asphalt surfaces and a minimum of 22 days for new concrete surfaces.
For surface repair, a mixture of pure acrylic, cement and sand is applied to the surface for potholes where water accumulates and areas at low elevations on both floors.
Kenncoat Resurfacer can be applied 1 day after the repair.
It is recommended to apply Kenncoat Resurfacer after epoxy coating on the concrete surface.

Application Procedure

Kenncoat Resurfacer is mixed with water and sand and applied with a squeegee or squeegee.

Equipment Cleaning

The equipment used is cleaned by washing it with water.
